Welcome to First United Methodist Church of Morrilton
At First United Methodist Church of Morrilton, we believe that faith is meant to be lived out in love, service, and community. Our purpose is simple but powerful:
To make disciples of Jesus Christ who know and love God, love others, serve the community, and share Christ.
We are a church rooted in the heart of downtown Morrilton, Arkansas, where people of all backgrounds and ages come together to worship, grow, and serve. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time, returning to church after some time away, or looking for a place to call home, you are welcome here.
Our Worship
We gather each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. for worship — a Christ-centered service with Scripture, prayer, uplifting music, and practical messages that connect faith to everyday life. Join us in person at 201 S. Chestnut Street or online via our livestream.
Our Ministries
Faith comes alive through action. We live out our mission by:
Serving our community through ministries like our Community Meal, Room 29:11, and partnerships with the Conway County Care Center.
Nurturing kids and families through programs such as Wonderful Wednesdays and seasonal events that encourage faith and fellowship.
Growing together through Bible studies, small groups, and gatherings like Bible and a Brew, where honest questions and real friendships flourish.
We also offer spiritual growth and wellness opportunities, including free Yoga & Prayerful Meditation, Line Dancing classes, and a weekly Men’s Breakfast on Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. These ministries help us care for body, mind, and spirit while building community.
Our Vision
We believe God is at work in Morrilton and beyond, calling us to be a church where grace is shared freely, lives are transformed, and love makes a difference. Every person has a place and a purpose in God’s story — and we’d love to help you discover yours.
